I am a junior at University of Michigan who transferred from University of Miami. I am majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Art and Design through Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design. Additionally, I am enrolled in the Cappo Sales Track through the Ross School of Business.

Projects

RELATIONAL DATABASE

Wrote a program to emulate a basic relational database with an interface basedon a subset of a standard query language. Gained experience writing code that makes use of multiple interacting data structures and hash tables.

MACHINE LEARNING

Wrote a program that uses natural language processing and machine learning techniques to automatically identify the subject of posts from the EECS 280 Piazza. Through this I gained experience with recursion, binary trees, templates, comparators, and the map data structure

COMPUTER VISION

Wrote a program that shrinks the dimensions of a given image. Gained experienced with pointers, arrays, structs, strings, and basic I/O operations, as well as C-style “object-based” programming.

Member of an undergraduate research group at the University of Michigan studying artificial intelligence and commercial robots.

Help redevelop the websites for local businesses and non-profits.

Help facilitate weekly discussions on topics of concern and pushing for a more equitable organization. I am also on the PR team. I have utilized my leadership skills to help integrate creative content with informative and educational resources that align with DEI’s goals.

SCM MEDICAL MISSIONS

Fundraised four thousand dollars and collected/donated soccer equipment for a Syrian refugee camp in Thessaloniki, Greece. Volunteered at the camp for two weeks while leading English classes to both children and adults. Increased awareness of the Syrian refugee crisis by recording the refugee stories and giving to news reporters.
